Working over the summer months, school principal Michael Daly and local Carlow firm t2, implemented a state-of-the-art ICT system, which enables secure file sharing between classrooms and centralised back-up of all school data, crucial to a school like Colaiste Eoin.

Two primary schools in Kilkenny and one in Carlow will receive €115,000 in grants for high-tech equipment over the coming days as part of the government's continuing efforts to make technology an integral part of the learning process.
